FEATHERSTONE Rovers general manager Lee Crooks (pictured right) is urging supporters to attend Saturday’s scholarship and academy games at Bigfellas Stadium.

The Rovers under 15s and under 16s face Huddersfield Giants and the under 18s take on Castleford Tigers.

The under 15s (11am kick-off) hope to make it four wins out of five. They have convincingly beaten Bradford, London, and Widnes and narrowly lost to Wakefield.

The under 16s (12.30pm kick-off) are still searching for their first win this season. They were narrowly beaten at Widnes last month.

The under 18s derby game against Castleford kicks off at 2.30pm.

Crooks said: “Hopefully, if the weather prevails, our under 15s, 16s and 18s can finally get some game time under their belts.

“I urge all supporters of Featherstone Rovers to come and support our young generation of stars.

“The 15s and 16s both face strong Huddersfield sides. This should test our players technically, tactically, physically and mentally. Our 18s play Castleford in a game that should be as passionate as the first team Challenge Cup tie in April.”

Admission to Saturday’s matches is £3 adults and £1 concessions.

Latest £500 Rovers lottery winners are I Daniels (H3399), Mrs Evans (V5971), N Downing (F0031), J Baywater (C0766), E Gummerson (P1910). £5 consolation prizes R Beaumont (V0714), B Storey (W3025), D Smalley (W2225), R Hobson (V2225), M Nicholls (V3221), D Wilson (V4611).
