Featherstone’s majority shareholder Feisal Nahaboo says there has been a “a lot of interest” in the job of head coach at the club.
Rovers are searching for a new coach to succeed John Bastian who left the club last week.
Speaking after yesterday’s 36-22 win at Sheffield Eagles, Mr Nahaboo said: “We haven’t offered the job to anyone. We have had a lot of interest and CVs keep coming in. I think people have realised there is serious investment.”
Mr Nahaboo praised acting head coach Danny Evans after Featherstone recovered from 22-10 down at half-time to beat Sheffield.
He added: “Danny Evans has done a phenomenal job and I don’t think there is any rush.”
