TICKETS for the Co-operative Championship Grand Final between Featherstone Rovers and Sheffield Eagles at Warrington’s Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday, October 2, have gone on sale.
Sheffield, coached by former Featherstone player Mark Aston (pictured), booked their place in the final with Thursday night’s 20-10 win at Leigh Centurions.
The Eagles, who finished fourth in the table, are the first team from outside the top two to reach the final.
Tickets can be purchased from the main office at the Featherstone Rovers ground during normal office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm) as well as from the club shop on Saturday (10am to noon) and Wednesday (10am to noon).
The deadline for purchasing tickets from the club is 12.30pm next Thursday, September 29.
Rovers have been allocated seats in Blocks A, B and C in the North Stand. Tickets in Blocks A and B are £16/£8 and seats in Block C are priced £20/£10.
Rovers have been given 2,000 standing tickets in their first allocation. These are allocated the West Stand with tickets priced at £14/£7.
Free tickets for children accompanied by an adult are available from RFL and not from the club. These tickets are for the East Stand which will be a dedicated family stand for all clubs.
They are on a first come first served basis and can be obtained by calling the RFL on 08444 856113.
Rovers are also organising coach travel to the game. Seats for the coaches will cost £10 and must be pre-booked via the club when purchasing a ticket. Coaches will depart from the main car park. Times of departure will be advised on the Rovers club website.
