FEATHERSTONE Rovers warmed up for Thursday's Northern Rail Cup quarterfinal at Keighley Cougars by trouncing Dewsbury Rams 60-18 at Bigfellas Stadium on Sunday.
Half-backs Andy Kain and Liam Finnn were oustanding as Rovers turned on style in their fourth straight Co-operative Championship victory.
Kain scored four tries - the second was the 100th of his career - and Finn bagged two tries and landed 10 out of 10 conversions to take his run of consecutive successful kicks to 31.
Sam Smeaton (two), Tommy Saxton and Greg Worthington were champions Featherstone's other try scorers in a win that kept them just one point behind leaders Halifax.
Scott Spaven, James Craven and Ed Barber scored tries for outclassed Dewsbury who were 12-0 down after just six minutes and trailed 24-6 at half-time.
