Featherstone full-back Ian Hardman has signed a two-year contract extension which keeps him at the club until the end of 2015.
Hardman (pictured) is now in his fifth season at Rovers, for whom he has scored 68 tries.
He also carries out community work through the Featherstone Rovers Foundation as well as helping young players at the club develop.
Hardman said “I’m really enjoying my time at Featherstone Rovers and I am delighted to commit to the club for a further two years. The club is really going places and I am looking forward to hopefully helping the club return to the top flight in due course.”
Rovers chief executive Craig Poskitt said “Ian Hardman is a consistent performer and we are delighted that he will remain at the club for a further two years following this season. We are already actively looking to strengthen our squad for next year and beyond which includes retaining players already at the club. We were keen to retain Ian as he is a great asset not only on the field but also delivering excellent community work off the field and he is a credit to the club.”
“Following coach Daryl Powell’s departure earlier today, we intend to keep any player we wish to retain at the club and will be revealing other contract extensions in due course.”
