Featherstone coach Daryl Powell plans to make full use of his squad during a spell of four games in 13 days.
Today’s (Friday) trip to Championship rivals York City Knights is the start of a hectic period for Rovers who host Swinton Lions at Big Fellas Stadium on Easter Monday and then play amateurs Thatto Heath in the Challenge Cup the following Sunday before visiting Doncaster in a televised league game on Thursday, April 11.
Apart from centre Sam Smeaton, who is recovering from a serious knee injury, Powell has a full-strength squad at his disposal as his side look to bounce back from their 26-18 defeat at Sheffield Eagles two weeks ago.
Rovers were without a game last weekend when snow and ice forced the postponement of their home match against Workington Town. A new date has not yet been arranged.
“We just need to play - that’s the way we feel at the moment. We just need to get a match under our belt and get the Sheffield game out of our system,” said Powell (pictured).
“It’s a tough period for us. We need to utilise our squad and get four victories.
“Obviously, we’ll take it one game at a time. We’ve got York first and it’s a key game for us. We need to get it right and we’ll be focused on that.”
