INJURY-HIT Featherstone Rovers will be without key players for Sunday’s home game against Kingstone Press Championship top-four rivals London Broncos.

Richard Moore is suspended and Jason Walton (knee) and Frankie Mariano (arm) are both sidelined.

Dual-registered Leeds Rhinos’ Ash Handley has also been ruled out after he sustained a knee injury in last Sunday’s 38-6 win at Dewsbury Rams.

Rovers coach Jon Sharp said: “Frankie Mariano and Jason Walton are massive losses and Richard Moore is as well up the middle.

“The physio is saying Walton will be out for four to six weeks with a grade two medial knee injury.

“Mariano has a crack in his forearm that we didn’t know about. He was a late withdrawal against Dewsbury after he had it x-rayed. Hopefully he will only be out for four weeks.

“Handley won’t take part this week but I’m not sure how long he will be out.”

Michael Knowles has missed the last three matches with knee trouble.

“Knowles will be touch and go,” added Sharp.

Moore was banned for one game after he submitted an early guilty plea following a charge of punching in the recent home match against Toulouse Olympique.

Prop Moore and winger Luke Briscoe will have their cases heard by the RFL disciplinary panel next Tuesday after they were both sent at Dewsbury last Sunday.
