FORMER Featherstone Rovers player Zak Hardaker scored two tries against his old club as Leeds Rhinos beat Rovers 66-0 in Rob Burrow's testimonial game at Headingley Carnegie last night (Friday).
Super League champions Leeds, fielding virtually a full strength team, kept the ball alive superbly as they ran in six first-half tries, including a hat trick from Danny McGuire.
They added five more touchdowns after the break, with McGuire taking his tally to four.
Lee Smith converted all 11 tries.
Former Great Britain winger Gareth Raynor slotted in well on his Featherstone debut.
Rovers back rower Matty Dale sustained a nasty-looking facial injury..
The match was in aid of Leeds half-back Burrow's testimonial.
Burrow, who started his rugby career with amateur club Featherstone Lions, said: "It was a dream night for me. First and foremost the team has played well in our final pre-season game and for me personally it was an honour just to play for Leeds so to get a testimonial is incredible. I can't thank the fans and sponsors who came out tonight to support me enough, it means the world to me."
