Featherstone’s new head coach John Bastian has issued a rallying call to Rovers fans.
He is urging supporters to take advantage of the early bird prices on 2014 memberships which ends tomorrow (Thursday) at 5pm.
Adult gold memberships are available at £209, silver memberships at £179 and bronze memberships at £149. They are all £10 cheaper if purchased before tomorrow’s deadline. There are also early bird offers available on concession memberships.
Bastian said “Everyone at Featherstone Rovers is gearing up towards what is arguably one of the most important years for the club in recent history.
“On the field we have a host of new signings which are eager to impress, develop and help Rovers achieve our aspirations of returning to the higher echelons of the sport. They join an already talented group of existing players who are all enthusiastic to continue their development at Rovers.
“Off the field we are strengthening the club in a number of ways and growing in a sustainable fashion.
“For example, the hard work and investment led by chairman Mark Campbell with the construction of the new Centre of Excellence is testament to the drive and enthusiasm at the club. I have also been amazed at the work of Paul Coventry and his loyal team of volunteers in the stadium re-developments which will improve the spectator experience for all supporters to the Big Fellas Stadium.
“However, the most important ingredient for a strong club is its supporters. Featherstone Rovers has always thrived with the help of the local community and its passionate supporters and we need that support more than ever in 2014. Commercially we have fantastic support from businesses and it is great that LINPAC Packaging is returning to the front of our famous shirt.
“I will never forget the passion on the terraces at Post Office Road in my playing days and I am looking forward to more of the same in 2014 and beyond.”
All those who purchase a 2014 membership (adult or concession) before the closing deadline of the early bird deal will be entered into a draw to win hospitality for two at Featherstone’s home New Year’s Day pre-season fixture against Hunslet Hawks.
