FOUR tries in the last 14 minutes sealed Featherstone’s 44-24 win over York City Knights at Bigfellas Stadium on Sunday.

Rovers closed the gap on Co-operative Championship leaders Leigh to three points, with a game in hand, after recovering from a shaky start.

They were 12-0 down in as many minutes and trailed 24-20 early in the second period but ran out comfortable winners in the end.

Man of the match Andy Kain was again in outstanding form.

Featherstone’s try scorers were Bryn Powell (two), Liam Finn (two), Jon Grayshon, Kain, Andy Bostock, Sam Smeaton and Jon Hepworth. Finn kicked four goals.
