FEATHERSTONE Rovers coach Jon Sharp admitted his side were second best in all departments in Saturday’s 42-16 defeat against London Broncos at Blackpool’s Summer Bash.

“I thought London played really well. They kicked extremely well - I think they scored four tries from kicks,” said Sharp.

“We were second best at the ruck area and I thought London ran harder and tackled harder.

“We wore a different strip today and it looked like a different team as well.

“It was not what I’ve seen all year. I was really disappointed.

“We came up against a team that played extremely well and had high percentage rates as well. It just wasn’t us today at all.

“We’ve got to address that and look into the reasons why we played like we played.”

London coach Andrew Henderson said: “I thought we showed a lot of desire and energy defensively especially in the first-half.”
