Featherstone stayed three points clear of third-placed Halifax in the Kingstone Press Championship with Sunday’s 56-18 win against North Wales Crusaders at Big Fellas Stadium.
Rovers, who had already beaten the Welsh team twice this season, had the points in the bag at half-time when they led 38-6.
They took their foot off the gas in the second period but still ran out easy winners despite having James Lockwood sent off 12 minutes from time.
James Mendeika and Jarrod Sammut led the points spree.
Mendeika scored three tries and Sammut marked his debut with 10 goals from 10 kicks after joining Rovers on dual registration from Wakefield.
George Flanagan brought the house down with an 85-yard solo effort and new signing Liam Kent grabbed his first try for the club.
Featherstone’s other try scorers were Andy Kain, Ben Blackmore, Andy Ellis and Will Sharp.
