FEATHERSTONE'S pre-season home game against Oldham has been called off today for a second time.

The match, which was postponed last Sunday, was re-arranged for tomorrow evening (Friday) but it has now again fallen victim to the icy conditions.

Featherstone's home pre-season game against Bradford last month was also cancelled because of bad weather.

“It has disrupted us a bit,” said Rovers coach Daryl Powell (pictured).

“You put your pre-season plan in place hoping you are going to play them all but it very rarely happens. We’ve just got to get on with it.

“Training has been disrupted pretty heavily all pre-season but we’ve just got to find a way through it.

"Hopefully, conditions will start to improve and we'll start to get more consistent practice on the field which is obviously crucial for us."
