Nutrition X will be the official nutrition partner of Featherstone Rovers next season.

The company will ensure players receive the necessary sports nutrition before, during and after training as well as on match-days.

Bill Mallinson, head of strength and conditioning at Big Fellas Stadium, said: “Having worked in the Super League for 15 seasons, I am really excited to be working with Nutrition X.

“I hope to realise our clubs potential, both on and off the field, by tapping into Nutrition X’s knowledge and resources, enabling me to maximize our athletes training and playing potential”.

Rovers commercial manager Paul Taylor said: “We are delighted to link up with Nutrition X who are increasing their presence in Rugby League.

“They are a growing organisation with a similar ethos to ourselves. It’s important that the product is right for our players and Bill is enthusiastic about partnership and the input Nutrition X will have in 2016 which is an important season for Rovers.”

James Markey, managing director of Nutrition X, said: “We are very proud to announce our latest partnership with Featherstone Rovers. We look forward to working closely with Bill and the players and supporting them with their nutritional requirements for the forthcoming season”.
