FEATHERSTONE Rovers emerged victorious from a match-up of unbeaten Championship clubs as they beat Dewsbury Rams 24-12.
The Rams led 6-4 at half-time, but two tries early in the second half turned the match Featherstone’s way and they went on to complete their third league victory of the season.
Rovers took the lead through Ian Hardman, but Dewsbury replied with a try by Ryan Esders and a penalty kicked by Patch Walker gave them the advantage at the break.
Daryl Powell’s men made a storming start to the second half with Andy Kain and Matty Dale both going over for tries converted by Liam Finn.
Austin Buchanan replied with a long range effort for the hosts, but Rovers completed their win when Kain crossed for his second try and Finn kicked two more goals to finish with four on the day.
