FEATHERSTONE'S young guns emerged with tremendous credit from tonight's (Thursday) 28-28 draw against Hull FC at Bigfellas Stadium in front of a crowd of 693.

Traiing 24-10 early in the second-half, Rovers stormed back to grab a 28-24 lead but Hull levelled the scores six minutes from time.

Hull, inspired by Jamie Ellis, took an early 10-0 lead but Rovers hit back with tries from Jack Illey and the impressive Liam Mackay.

Hull took charge again and looked to be heading for victory early in the second-half but Rovers turned the game on its head with a burst of three tries in seven minutes from Kyran Johnson, Mackay and Rob Kirk.

Ex-Halifax, Hull, Dewsbury and Castleford prop Dominic Maloney gave a solid display on his Rovers debut.
