Featherstone Rovers booked a Tetley’s Challenge Cup fifth round trip to Leigh Centurions by trouncing North Wales Crusaders 66-0 on Sunday.
John Bastian’s men produced a near perfect display in attack and defence in a 12-try victory over their Welsh opponents at Big Fellas Stadium.
Leading 26-0 at half-time, Rovers were even more dominant playing up the slope in the second-half.
James Mendeika scored a hat-trick of tries and Steve Crossley and Jamie Cording each grabbed two.
Greg Worthington, Andy Kain, Will Sharp, George Flanagan and Matty Dale also crossed, with Gareth Moore kicking nine goials to pile on the misery for the outclassed visitors.
Half-backs Kain and Moore were at the hub of all Featherstone’s best work and their clever kicks constantly tormented the Crusaders.
