FEATHERSTONE Rovers are hoping for a double in the Co-operative Championship awards after being nominated in two of the three categories.

Rovers half-back Liam Finn has been shortlisted for the player of the year award, which he won last year. The other contenders are Leigh Centurions pair Chris Hill and Jamie Ellis.

Coach Daryl Powell (pictured), who won the coach of the year award in 2010, is again among the contenders this season. He is facing competition from Karl Harrison (Batley Bulldogs) and Ian Millward (Leigh Centurions).

The winners will be announced at the Championship’s annual dinner in Manchester on Tuesday, September 27.
