Featherstone Rovers this afternoon confirmed that winger Will Sharp has signed a two-year contract extension.

The 26-year-old, who joined Rovers in April from Doncaster Knights RUFC, has made over 100 Super League appearances. He made 72 for Harlequins (London Broncos) and 37 for Hull FC.

Sharp said: “I am delighted to have agreed to stay at Featherstone Rovers for a further two years.

“I am really enjoying being back in rugby league and since joining in April I feel I adopted back to the game well.

“I feel the club is going places both on and off the field and I am certain I can fulfil my Super League aspirations at Featherstone Rovers. We are fully focused to finishing 2013 on a high and building for a bright future. “
