THREE Featherstone Rovers players have been charged with committing offences in the 34-32 Northern Rail Cup win at Halifax on February 26.

Skipper Stuart Dickens (pictured) has been charged with committing a Grade C head-butting offence in the 54th minute of the match.

His team-mates Michael Hayley and Andy Bostock are charged with committing Grade A and Grade B striking offences, respectively, in the same game.

They are set to appear before the RFL Disciplinary Committee tomorrow evening (Tuesday).

Halifax duo Craig Ashall and Dane Manning have also been charged after incidents in the same match, Ashall with a Grade B striking offence and Manning a Grade A striking offence.

Ashall has elected to take an early guilty plea and has received a one-match ban which rules him out of Halifax’s opening Co-operative Championship fixture against Hunslet Hawks this weekend.
