Featherstone’s Big Fellas Stadium will host a college rugby league top of the table clash next week.

New College’s Pontefract Titans take on Welsh team Coleg Y Cymoedd in the College Premier League next Wednesday, November 30 (2pm kick-off).

Titans, who are currently second in the Premier League table, will be keen to get the better of the former Welsh academy outfit who are among their title rivals.

A shirt presentation will be made before the game by Featherstone Rovers head coach Jon Sharp.

Kingstone Press Championship club Rovers have kindly agreed to donate kit to the Titans team for the year.

Andrew Petch, Titans team manager, said: “We are expecting a tough game against a well drilled and highly competitive team.

“With the season over the half-way point, it is crucial the Titans secure as many points as possible from the remaining games as the league could be decided by points difference and three to four teams are competing for the top spot.”

There is free admission to next Wednesday’s game.
