SUBSTITUTE Andy Kain scored a hat trick of tries as Championship leaders Featherstone Rovers made it six wins from six games.

Kain scored with his first touch after replacing injured Kyle Briggs in the eighth minute of Thursday’s 52-10 victory over Keighley Cougars at Big Fellas Stadium.

Rovers led 26-0 at the break and did not ease up, adding 26 more points in the second period.

Tom Hodson bagged two first-half tries and James Lockwood grabbed a brace early in the second-half.

Jonny Hepworth, Andy Bostock and Steve Crossley also crossed and Liam Finn kicked six goals as Rovers moved four points ahead of closest rivals Halifax.

Paul White and Ben Sagar scored second-half tries for struggling Keighley who are without a win since last August.

Cougars player-coach Paul March was sent off two minutes from time for dissent.
