FOLLOWING the record-breaking attendance of 15,912 in 2016, Rugby League’s Bank Holiday Festival, Summer Bash, returns to Blackpool on May 27 and 28 – and you could be there to see all the action if you win an Express competition this week.

This year’s Summer Bash boasts six exciting fixtures in the Kingstone Press Championship and the best talent from League One will also be on show at the Bloomfield Road ground in the League One Cup final.

The Summer Bash is a great weekend with entertainment both on and off the pitch, live performances, fan interaction and great prizes on offer throughout.

With tickets from £20 for adults and £10 for concessions, the event promises to great value for money for all the family.

Local interest centres on Featherstone Rovers who are in action on day one when they face London Broncos on the Saturday in a game kicking off at 4.45pm.

It promises to be an exciting encounter between two of the division’s strongest teams, with Rovers looking for a repeat of their recent excellent display when they beat the Broncos 38-18 in a home game.

Other games on the Saturday see Oldham up against Rochdale Hornets (2.30pm) and Hull KR take on Bradford Bulls (7pm). Sunday sees Sheffield Eagles v Swinton Lions (12.35pm), Halifax against Toulouse (3pm) and Dewsbury Rams v Batley Bulldogs (5.15pm).

We have teamed up with the RFL for two readers to each have the chance of winning a pair of weekend tickets in the reserved seating area of Blackpool FC’s Bloomfield Road ground.
