Castleford Panthers under nines celebrated a great first season at their presentation night.

Awards were presented by Castleford Tigers stars Rangi Chase and Matt Cook along with Panthers coach Craig Brooks.

Charlie Goodrich won the man of steel and players’ player accolade.

Charlie Gaughan picked up the player of the year award. The shooting star award went to Stuart Knott.

Caleb Nodder’s hard work was rewarded with the top tackler and parents’ player of the year awards.

Jake Smith won the most dependable player prize and Harry Brooks received the most improved player accolade.

Travis Hemsworth won the award for being the most powerful Panther and Lucas Blanshard was presented with the clubman of the year trophy.

Will Barker was newcomer of the year, Sam Higgins the unsung hero and Bobby Carlyle trainer of the year. Newcomers Jack Schofield and Jacob Archer also won trophies.
