Kyle Trout has been recalled from his dual registration deal with Doncaster to be included in Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ 19-man squad to face Catalans Dragons on Saturday.

The former Stanley Rangers junior returns to help plug the gap left by captain Danny Kirmond, who will be out of action for up to four weeks following an operation on a knee injury.

Trout and Mariano will both be in contention for starting roles in France, while Matty Wildie also returns to Richard Agar’s 19-man squad with Vince Mellars dropping out.

Brent Webb returns from suspension for Catalans but Julian Bousquet is still serving his own ban and both Scott Dureau and Lopini Paea are sidelined through injury.

Wildcats 19-man squad: Mathers, Fox, Collis, L Smith, Cockayne, Sykes, T Smith, Poore, Aiton, Raleigh, Lauitiiti, Washbrook, Wood, Amor, Wilkes, Mariano, Trout, Wildie, Annakin.

Catalans 19-man squad: Webb, Blanch, Pryce, Bosc, Elima, Henderson, Casty, Menzies, Anderson, Mounis, Maria, Pelissier, Larroyer, Millard, Pala, Simon, Fakir, Baitieri, Duport.
