BARLA has confirmed that Queens and Upton will play each other for the right to meet Drighlington in the 2014-15 Yorkshire Cup final.
Queens and Upton lock horns on Sunday, December 28, at South Leeds Stadium in this year’s third semi-final.
The game replaces the final, which had been scheduled for the same date and venue, and will be part of a double-header with the BARLA Yorkshire Under 18s Cup final between Lock Lane and West Hull.
Queens replace Sharlston Rovers, who had won the quarter-final tie between the sides, and Upton step in for Fryston Warriors, who prevailed at the same stage.
Queens and Upton have been given a second chance following BARLA’s ruling that Sharlston and Fryston each fielded an ineligible player in their semi-final, which the Warriors won 14-10.
