Streethouse Cricket Club are holding a fund-raising day at their Whinney Lane ground on Sunday.

The event will start at noon with a 20-20 match between Streethouse X1 and Gordon Long X1.

The Gordon Long X1 will include several Wakefield Wildcats RL stars including captain Danny Kirmond, a former Streethouse CC player.

After the match, there will be a race night and auction.

Tickets cost £5 which includes being the owner of a horse for the race night and a prize for the winning owner in each race.

The ticket also includes entry to a prize draw.

The event will raise money for a local girl Ashleigh Long who requires sponsorship to fund her expenses to go to Bulgaria to compete for the England gymnastics team.

The event will be sponsored by Motor City, of Wakefield and Knottingley.
