SENSATIONAL teen singers proved they had talent to a packed crowd at the Express' Voice of 2009 contest.
Ten young artists from across the region took the stage to sing their hearts out at Xscape leisure centre in Glass Houghton on Sunday.
Competition was tough but Sheffield songstress Kortni Turner, 18, claimed the coveted winner's title – and £1,000 prize – after wowing the judges with a performance of her own song Cry No More.
Energetic shows from Castleford Tigers' cheerleaders The Claws and Wakefield Wildcats' dance troupe the Wildcat Dolls also kept the audience entertained during the action-packed afternoon.
