Cast lines up for Godber

rarely-performed John Godber comedy Weekend Breaks will tour the UK this spring after opening at Theatre Royal Wakefield on February 7.

Weekend Breaks is a comedy about culture clashes, which sees aspiring film writer Martin Dawson trying to patch things up with his actress wife and his disapproving working class parents after an extra-marital fling.

On a weekend break to Whitby, Martin rediscovers his roots and what it really means to love your parents – even when you want to kill them.
