It has been seven years since the city-centre celebration of new music began and it that time it has grown from strength to strength.

To support its ever increasing popularity, organisers have added four new venues to the line up this year including Leeds Town Hall, Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen, Hifi Club Leeds and Oporto on CallLane.

Live At Leeds thrives on its reputation for championing emerging talent – and this year will be no exception.

Melbourne-based singer and guitarist Courtney Barnett will certainly be one to watch, as well as Wolf Alice from North London and The Neighbourhood from the USA.

One of the main headliners already causing excitement is Albert Hammond Jr, of The Strokes, who played an amazing gig at The Brudenell Social Club last December.

Also on the line-up are some much loved Live At Leeds favourites including I Like Trains, Forward Russia The Sunshine Underground, and Pulled Apart By Horses.
