Now following a run of dates earlier this year, Vennart is pleased to announce more headlining shows this month, including a date at Wakefield venue The Hop on Friday, November 27.

He is be on tour with psychedelic rockers Knifeworld and noise-rock guitar/drum duo Cleft and also recently played 2000 Trees and the ArcTanGent Festival and has a propensity to play classic Oceansize tracks live.

For the live shows, Mike is joined by ex-Oceansize cohorts Steve Durose and Richard ‘Gambler’ Ingram, as well as former Ginger Wildheart drummer Denzel.

A live clip for the track ‘Retaliate’ was recently launched, filmed during the short UK headline tour in May, and you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/9q_Ro439Bm0

The Demon Joke’ album has really taken off and has gathered some great support. The new material is incredibly diverse and sees Vennart take a different direction from Oceansize, however it remains resolute throughout.

Mike recently said the album is “more focused on vocals and guitar rather than, pounding your head and complex riffs” and this has resulted in an album which will please Vennart fans, and will also appeal to many new listeners.
