B&M customers are obsessed with £2 Love Heart Locket decoration - but it’s not why you think

The decoration is designed as a locket - which is perfect for Christmas Day proposals and keeping treasured pictures in.

But shoppers have been hunting down the item to put loved ones ashes in it, so they can be with them on Christmas Day.

One shopper said: “Thank you to the person that posted the other day about these ornaments to put ashes in… got one for each close member of my family and put a little card with a message on each one.”

The bargain £2 product has been shared by hundreds of people on social media, with many sharing their savvy tips and pictures of the much-loved locket, one post on received over 700 comments and 4,600 reactions.

One user commented: “It’s a beautiful idea for beautiful Angels”, while another said: “Aww that’s a lovely idea and beautiful ornament”.

Others were frantically searching for stores with stock of the popular decoration asking if anyone has found any in their local store while others were offering their support.

If shoppers cannot find the sell-out Love Heart Locket bauble in store, the discount retailer also sell a very similar Magic Glass Locket decoration.
