McDonald's to re-open UK 15 restaurants for delivery-only, burger giant confirms

Fast food giant McDonald's will re-open some of its restaurants this month for deliveries only, it has been confirmed.

The company will open just 15 outlets from May 13 but the locations will not be revealed until next week.

There will be only be a limited menu customers are being told, with the food being delivered through Uber Eats and Just Eat.

It follows news that KFC has re-opened 21 of its restaurants for delivery service only, including Wakefield's Westgate Retail Park.

And the news from McDonald's is certain to have fans of the burger chain eager to find out if they can get hold of their favourite fast food.

On the day the restaurants shut in March due to the lockdown, long queues were reported at the 'drive thru' areas.
