Wakefield Jack's Supermarket has kindly donated a variety of pet food, treats and chews to RSPCA Wakefield.

The donation was in honour of National Pet Month, taking place throughout April, which was launched to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership and help owners around the UK to stay up to date with the latest pet-friendly advice.

RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch is a rehabilitation and rehoming branch for dogs, cats and rabbits, based on Moor Knoll Lane in East Ardsley. They are entirely self-funded and rely on the generosity of supporters to continue their work.

Michael Ward, Store Manager at Jack's Wakefield, said: "Everyone at Jack's loves to give back to the local community and we couldn't forget about our furry friends. RSPCA Wakefield carries out some incredible work and we're very proud to support them in any way we can.

"Jack’s have everything you need in store to keep your furry friend happy and healthy."
