This year, World Book Day is on Thursday, March 4, and it's going to be different with children mostly working from home.
But it's still being celebrated with children of all ages coming together to celebrate reading with the chance to dress up as their favourite literary character on the day.
We've taken a look back in our archives at costumes from around Wakefield in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
