Co-op plan to build a new store on Wakefield relief road
The Co-op is planning to build a new convenience store off Wakefield’s eastern relief road.
The chain is developing designs for a store located off Neil Fox Way, close to where the new Starbucks coffee shop is on Doncaster Road.
The scheme is subject to planning permission and although no detailed proposals have been released publicly yet, the Co-op says the venture would be “a major investment” .
The Co-op has applied to sell alcohol between 7am and 10pm seven days a week, suggesting the store’s opening hours.
