Covid in Wakefield: These are all the schools in Wakefield and the Five Towns with closures in place

These are all the schools in Wakefield and the Five Towns which are currently closed due to Covid-19.

Three class bubbles are closed at St. Thomas CE (VC) Junior School in Featherstone.

Year three bubbles 3SK and 3MT, as well as year four bubble 4BP are all closed due to coronavirus.

It is expected that all three bubbles will reopen on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.

Two bubbles are also closed at Wakefield's Dane Royd J & I School.

Pupils in the year one H and morning nursery bubbles have been sent home, and are expected to be allowed back to school from Monday, March 22.

A Covid bubble closure is also in place at at Outwood Primary Academy Ledger Lane.

Pupils in reception class Rainbows and year two class 2KB have been sent home, and are expected to return to school from Monday, March 22.

And the reception class at Glasshoughton Infant Academy has also been closed.

Those affected by the closure will be allowed to return to school from Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
