Public will be allowed access to school's new sports facilities

Permission was granted in January 2019 to build the artificial 3G pitch, along with fencing and floodlighting at St Wilfird’s Catholic High School on Cutsyke Road.

Work is continuing to complete the pitch.

And now conditions have been approved that permits the use of the facility, as well as the indoor facilities, by sports clubs and groups in the community.

Sports England has since agreed the terms, as has Wakefield Council.
