Two dispensers at the front of Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield had no sanitiser in them on either Friday November 27 or Monday November 30, a health scrutiny committee was told.
Frequent handwashing is advised by the Public Health England to help reduce the risk of Covid infection, with public places strongly encouraged to make it available.

Speaking at a committee meeting on Thursday, local Labour councillor Martyn Johnson said, "I had a telephone call today from someone who was going into Pinderfields on Friday and Monday night.
"On the entrance going in, the 2 containers with hand sanitiser were completely empty.
"On Monday night they went in and it was exactly the same. The sanitiser hadn't been replaced.
"I'm concerned people are going in and out of Pinderfields and there isn't any hand sanitiser for people to use."
