Coronavirus death toll in Yorkshire rises by 49 as 823 new deaths confirmed in England

The coronavirus death toll in Yorkshire hospitals has risen to 612, NHS England has confirmed.

The total has increased by 49 since the same time yesterday.

A further 823 people have died in hospital in England after testing positive for coronavirus, bringing the total deaths there to 8,937.

Patients were aged between 11 and 102 years old and 33 of the 823 patients (aged between 29 and 94 years old) had no known underlying health condition.

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 2

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust - 1

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust - 2

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust - 4

Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust - 5

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust - 3

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust - 4

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 9

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - 1

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - 2
