These are all the changes in restrictions which will come into force in Wakefield and the Five Towns from Monday, March 29, as part of the first step of the easing of lockdown, and the rules which will change when step two is introduced, no earlier than Monday, April 12.

7. Step 2: not before 12 April
Hospitality venues will be allowed to reopen once step two is reached. This means that pubs, bars and restaurants will be allowed to serve people outdoors - and there will be no curfew or requirement to order a meal with drinks. Households will not be allowed to mix. A number of pubs and restaurants in the district have confirmed plans to reopen from April 12, including Castleford's Pizza Express.
8. Step 2: not before 12 April
Step 2 will also see the reopening of indoor leisure facilities, including swimming pools and gyms. Aspire@ThePark, Pontefract's new leisure centre, is also expected to open to the public for the first time. However, people will only be allowed to use these on their own or with other members of their household, and should avoid mixing with other people.
