Public Health England publishes the latest Covid-19 deaths that took place in hospitals every day at 2pm.

On Monday, August 3, the government agency confirmed that 5 people have died in England.

Two people died in hospitals in Bradford.

One person died on Saturday, August 1 and one person died on Sunday August 2.

One person died at hospitals under the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, which covers Pontefract, Wakefield and Dewsbury hospitals.

Two people died at hospitals in East Kent and North Middlesex.

The total number of confirmed reported coronavirus deaths in hospitals in England is 29,352.

NHS England publishes the number of patients who have died in hospital and tested positive for COVID-19 in England.

Since Tuesday, April 28 NHS England and NHS Improvement also reports the number of patient deaths where there has been no COVID-19 positive test result, but where COVID-19 is documented as a direct or underlying cause of death on part 1 or part 2 of the death certification process.
