Wakefield Council has thanked the public for their hard work in helping lower rates of Covid-19 in the district. These are all the testing centres and vaccination sites in operation in Wakefield and the Five Towns, as of Tuesday, February 16. Anyone displaying Covid-19 symptoms is urged to get a test by visiting nhs.uk/coronavirus or calling 119. Coronavirus vaccines are being offered by the NHS to a number of priority groups. Over-65s, those classed as clinically extremely vulnerable and frontline health and social care workers can book their vaccine appointments on the NHS website here.
