Morrisons in Wakefield to be used a Covid vaccine centre

A supermarket car mark in Wakefield will be used a Covid vaccine centre.

Morrisons said a city branch of the store was one of three sites it had offered for the government to use.

Pharmacy2U, which will be managing the project, did not yet confirm which branch of it Morrisons would be.

The Pfizer vaccine will be given initially, but the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine is expected to follow.
