Yorkshire Building Society, Michelle’s Flowers, Pontefract Library, Wakefield MDC and Tracked Spider Solutions all helped to make the vision a reality

Pontefract Civic Society's decoration squad assembled the display
Royal British Legion members joined Pontefract Civic Society and their decoration squad, as the display was set up
The display was originally made to honour Remembrance Day 2020, but it made a welcome comeback for RBL 100
The initiative began when Pontefract Civic Society issued a call for members of the community to paint and decorate plastic poppies
