Here’s how you can win a mini-break for four courtesy of a Castleford vintage clothes shop
Marc Williamson and Amy Valentine, who run Bad Bambi in Carlton Lanes, have been using their lockdown time to conduct random acts of kindness for the people of Castleford.

Amy said: “We started doing these random acts of kindness because Marc and I have both worked in charities before we opened our business in October last year.
“We want to give back to the community who helped us get to where we are.
“Ten per cent of all our profits go to mental health charities in the UK, Marc really suffered because of his poor mental health and workplace pressures, so these charities mean a lot to us.

“The customers really supported us through it so we wanted to give something back.”
The winner of the mini-break will be drawn this Monday night.
On the store’s Facebook page, shoppers have been nominating friends and family members who they feel deserve to be treated to a random act of kindness.

Amy said: “We’re giving away the mini break to one of our shoppers in honour of Marc’s birthday, which is today.
“Happiness is contagious, these simple acts are things people will remember for their whole lives.
“If our shoppers know of anyone in the Wakefield area who’s struggling or just deserves something nice, all they’ve to do is post it on our social media and we can make it happen.”
