Singer from Ackworth begins running 100 miles in 10 days to raise money for a local boy with neuroblastoma
He has decided to run 10 miles every day for the next 10 days to raise money for a four year old boy who lives in the area, Oliver Stephenson, who is living with a type of cancer called neuroblastoma.
Joseph said: “When I first heard about what was going on with Oliver through some friends, I really wanted to get involved and do something to help.

“Oliver is currently in hospital with his Dad and it’s so heartbreaking that he can’t see his Mum during this time.
“I was supposed to be running the London marathon this year, but that’s been postponed, so it made sense to go through with this challenge because I’m keeping active while raising money to get a little boy the treatment he needs.”
Joseph began the first leg of his journey yesterday morning, accompanied by his friend, Graham Phipps who cycles alongside carrying refreshments.

So far a total of £1600 has been raised for Joseph’s cause.
Joseph said: “I’m getting stuck into it, 10 miles every day isn’t easy so I’ve got ice baths waiting for me at home, along with plenty of pasta and protein shakes.
“I have no set target but it would be great to raise £5000 for Oliver’s cause.
“I’m just trying to make a difference through staying active, with lockdown it’s good to get out and exercise, that along with making a difference.”
Joseph is asking sponsors to send him a message on his Facebook page to let him know they have donated.
