BBC Look North presenter Amy Garcia is giving an insight into her work/mum life balance, making a short video on how she is coping being mum to her two children, and bringing Yorkshire the latest news on Covid-19.
Amy, who is from Wakefield, is currently on week nine of home-schooling, while getting the household ready and set up for the evenings, when she goes off to present the 6.30pm and late regional news programmes.
Amy, who attended Kettlethorpe School, has been presenting the programme as a single-header as her co-presenter Harry Gration is classed as vulnerable.
Highlights from Amy’s video include calling her children her ‘little’ alarm clocks, praising teachers across the nation and telling her children she is off to work for a ‘rest’.
