When a new restaurant owner couldn’t find a special place to eat out in Wakefield, he decided to open his own. Three Flames Steak House & Bar, which opened its doors this week, offers a dining experience with a difference.

From the stunning glass wall designs that welcome you in, to the sumptuous rooms for private dining, you can tell that you are in for a treat as you step inside the new Three Flames Steak House & Bar in Wakefield.

Inspiration for the new restaurant came when co-owner Ilham Samchiyev visited Turkey a decade ago and sampled top chefs’ tasty dishes, which were so different to the quality he had eaten on a night out at home.

His quest to find the perfect chef began and once he found him, he decided that the time was right to open his own restaurant.

Ilham explains: “I always had that delicious food in mind and wanted to bring that culture to the UK. Once I found the right chef, I knew it was time to get started.”

Premium cuts charcoal grilled for flavour

The Three Flames’ food is all about offering the best quality, locally-sourced, premium cuts of 28-day dry-aged steak and Waygu, which is charcoal-grilled for perfection.

This is meat that melts in your mouth, served without sauces which would hide its fine flavour.

Though there are vegan and vegetarian options on the menu too, including falafel and halloumi burgers and cauliflower steaks served with Three Flames special salads – with tomatoes and cucumber, red onion, green bell peppers and olives, with parsley in olive oil lemon dressing and drizzled pomegranate molasses.

Choose your favourite type of grilled steak or burger, or treat yourself from the ‘golden selection’ of steaks. Or why not choose ribs which have been slow-cooked in the oven for extra texture and taste?

Private dining

If it’s for a special family or business occasion, you can book one of two private dining rooms for more intimate dining.

Three Flames Steak House & Bar is open every day of the year, including Christmas day.

The restaurant has been opened by Ilham – who also owns The Codfather in Wakefield – together with a business partner.

Hiring now

After a ‘soft’ launch this week, the restaurant is looking for a range of waiters, bartenders, managers and cleaners in order to reach its full 120-seat capacity in the New Year. Look forward to the grand opening in January 2023.
