The Weston, which boasts an open kitchen, Scandinavian style and seasonal menu of locally and sustainably sourced produce, has today (Tuesday, April 27) reopened for outdoor dining.

The £3.6m visitor centre and restaurant first opened in 2019, and just weeks later secured three prestigious awards at the RIBA Yorkshire Awards.

The centre has been closed for several months, but will now be open from 9am to 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday, offering outdoor dining and a revamped menu for spring.

All outdoor areas at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park are now open, and the shop at the YSP Centre has also reopened, offering a collection of ceramic tiles and prints as part of a new exhibition from Alison Milner.

The YSP Centre coffee shop and Learning Building cafe have also reopened for takeaway food and drink.

Indoor restaurants and galleries are expected to reopen from May, in line with the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Booking for the park and The Weston is advised. To find out more or book today, visit the Yorkshire Sculpture Park website.
